I joined the OTRS Group in spring 2014. I was convinced by the relaxed, fun and open atmosphere in the interview, which was a real boon during my application marathon. And, of course, the fact that there was an office dog – not that I had one myself, but for me it represented an open mindset.
Since I started at OTRS Group, I have held various roles and positions in the Marketing and Human Relations departments. Projects in cross-departmental and international teams have always accompanied me. After a very intensive time in marketing, at some point, I wanted to get officially involved in internal topics like corporate culture, internal communication, change management and organizational development – actually, I have always worked indirectly on them on the side.
In addition to various team jour fixes, I have integrated regular virtual coffee breaks into my everyday work life. I also keep contacting colleagues just for a short video chat. I drive to the office irregularly, and from time to time, we have small virtual team events.
With a cappuccino, a pain au chocolat & a sport session just before starting. Those days are rare, but it’s important to have goals, isn’t it?
There have been tons of exciting projects; can’t choose one. But the main elements of all of them: a great atmosphere of working hands-on, trust, open-mindedness & fun.
