When did you join OTRS Group, and why did you choose us?

I joined OTRS Group in early 2020, because I was coming from a sales position and wanted to focus on the technical advice part as a Consultant. It was a coincidence (or destiny?) at that point that an old fellow student reached out to me and asked if I was interested in a consulting position at OTRS Group. The job description, as well as the benefits and salary, fit my expectations, so that’s why I decided to join the team.

Why did you become a Senior Consultant, and what is special about this job for you?

As stated above, I wanted to focus on the technical advice part and get rid of the sales paperwork which I did not really enjoy. I love to help the customers meet their requirements and implement ideas. I also like to find solutions for different problems to both establish new answers and improve existing processes. Additionally, I’m a social person who likes to be in direct contact with people, for instance within a workshop.

At OTRS Group, we mainly work from home office. How do you still manage to maintain a team feeling?

As I’m always in contact with my colleagues via chat, I don’t feel like I’m working alone from home. Furthermore, we also virtually meet every week for an exchange and sometimes even privately in the evening after a workshop.
