Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the new subsidiary will further drive expansion plans and offer the OTRS Business Solution™ software for IT service management, customer service and business communication to the Latin American market.
Sao Paulo, Brazil, January 13, 2016: OTRS Group, the world’s leading provider of open-source and cloud-based service management software solutions, today announces the founding of the new subsidiary OTRS Do Brasil Soluções LTDA. in Sao Paulo, Brazil to further drive expansion plans in Latin America. Latin American expansion began in 2010 with the founding of OTRS S.A. de C.V. in Mexico City to serve customer requests from Mexico and neighboring countries with services and software solutions based on the open source help desk software OTRS.
Brazil is among the top 5 countries worldwide for downloads of OTRS. To meet Brazil’s demand for scalable, professional and cost-effective software solutions for IT service management, customer service and business communication, the new subsidiary will focus on driving sales of the cloud-based and on-premise version of the OTRS Business Solution™.
A 3-day training event will take place in Sao Paulo from February 29 – March 4, 2016 to introduce the software and its extensive feature set to Brazilian businesses. All registrants will receive exclusive OTRS training on configuration possibilities, learn the advantages of the OTRS Process Management, and attend how-to sessions.
