When did you join OTRS Group, and why did you choose us?

I joined OTRS Group at the end of August 2018. I received an email from a recruiting company about this opportunity. When I met Gaby, our Vice President Global Finance, during the interview, I was very excited and hoped to be chosen. Her energy made me feel good about what was to come.

Why did you become an Office Manager, and what is special about this job for you?

I received the opportunity from the previous company I worked for. I felt very happy and challenged to step up from assistant to manager. For me, the most special part is being able to connect all areas of the company and play a guiding role in important decisions. Being able to manage people is even more exciting as it is continuous career and life growth.

At OTRS Group, we mainly work from home office. How do you still manage to maintain a team feeling?

I think the finance team is a great example of maintaining a team feeling. We are always together creating new challenges and improvements for our work. And, we also have celebrations, such as the annual Christmas call via video call.

Can you tell us three qualities one should have when joining OTRS Group?

You should be open-minded, a team player, and well-organized when facing your daily tasks.

Be honest! What can we do better or what do you wish for the future?

I sincerely hope that, by implementing the ERP system, it will improve our working time in terms that we can work on fewer operational tasks and rather focus on doing managerial tasks.
