I joined OTRS Group in 2016, the 22nd of February. I had had an eventful time with many ups and downs in my past company that had been threatened with closure for more over 6 years: This finally happened. In OTRS Group, I found a trustworthy global player, built on a solid foundation, that offered me flexibility and provided challenging work. And the most important: OTRS Group looked like a working family, where I could find peace, freedom and a place where all my skills seemed to be needed.
I enjoy using my organizational skills. As the assistant of the COO, I need to master so many different and multiple tasks, so it will never ever be boring! In this job, you need to support your boss as well as possible and keep his back free so that he may concentrate on the real important stuff. It is a challenging and versatile task, and that is what it makes this job so enjoyable.
OTRS Group works as family, even from home. We find many solutions to meet — in person for some teamworking days during the year (e.g., our company event),on the phone, remote or online. There is always someone to reach out to who can assist. We have chat functionalities and quick communication ways. And, not to be forgotten, regular remote meetings and sometimes kitchen chats.
A perfect workday day (after a tasty, but not always healthy, breakfast and a big cup of coffee) starts always with a smile from one of my colleagues, even if it is remote ☀️.
