The new solution enables transparent workflows for application management and onboarding, for the management of HR data and the processing of vacation requests, further training or sickness notifications, as well as for reporting and analysis of key HR data. With OTRS for HR Management, HR teams benefit from transparent HR processes in which task distribution and responsibilities are consistently supported and automated. This enables professional onboarding of applicants, efficient completion of routine tasks, and improved quality of work for everyone.

OTRS for HR Management is based on the powerful communication, service and process management system OTRS, but it has been preconfigured specifically to handle HR management requirements. The software solution comes with a preset dashboard and functional business processes. It is ready to go and available in just one day and includes the following features.

  • Application Management & Onboarding: The solution makes it easier for everyone involved to fill open positions in the company. While the HR team can post jobs in just a few steps, applicants can easily apply via an external platform and integrate existing profiles from job portals. For the further process, a clear dashboard shows the status of all applications, and automated processes support decisions about the next steps – such as the invitation to an interview. Once the decision for a new employee has been made, OTRS for HR Management supports the onboarding process.
  • Centralized HR data management: Vacation requests, sick leave, training requests, HR data updates – even and especially the continuous routine tasks in the HR team can be handled easily, systematically, and automatically with OTRS for HR Management. A self-service-portal enables employees to easily change their personal data themselves.
